| The Procedure |
 |
| Pre-Treatment |
Before the procedure, you will undergo a thorough dermatologic consultation with one of our experienced doctors. After you and your doctor decide that the XTRAC therapy is likely to be effective in your case, you will be asked to undergo a MED (Minimum Erythema Dose) test to determine the laser dosage appropriate for your skin (This test is done on normal skin). You will then be given appointments to undergo the laser treatment every 48-72 hours. Before each treatment, you should remove all make-up, sunscreen or any other lotion, creams prior to your treatment.
Your doctor may also advise you some ointments to apply on your skin on the days the laser treatment is not scheduled. It is important to maintain the schedule given to you |

| During Treatment |
During the procedure, you will be given protective glasses for your eyes. The laser spots will be delivered to affected areas of your body. The laser delivery is not at all painful. Indeed, all you may perceive is a mild warming sensation. The time taken is dependent on the amount of area affected. On an average, it will take 5-10 minutes. In some cases, it may take up to half an hour. |
