A translucent gel, which contains bleaching material, is applied to the teeth. A specially matched laser light is then applied to activate the crystals to absorb the energy from the light, causing rapid release of the bleaching material and penetrating the teeth enamel to increase the lightening effect on the teeth.
This is a simple procedure, which causes hardly any pain or discomfort. Depending on how discoloured your teeth are, it may take only 15 minutes for the entire procedure. Generally, just one procedure is enough for most people. |
